IMPACTS, an acronym for “Interventional Microbial Program to Prevent, to Analyze to Change and to Treat by Sustainable nutrition”, is an innovative deep-tech project dedicated to revolutionizing personalized nutrition for persons with obesity.
Integrative Phenomics – a company focused on personalized nutrition
Integrative Phenomics, established in late 2019, develops personalized nutrition models and solutions through using cutting-edge data science and AI technologies. These models are at the center of its In silico Modeling Core (IMC), that models the individual response to food. The IMC powers solutions that are targeted to transform the health and wellbeing of individuals struggling with obesity and weight management. These solutions will be available for medical professionals, patients, consumers, and the food industry.
Overweight and obesity – a global and under-served health concern
Overweight and obesity is a pressing health issue that affects hundreds of millions worldwide, contributing to numerous health risks and chronic diseases, such as Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Traditional one-size-fits-all dietary recommendations often fall short, failing to account for the unique factors that influence an individual’s response to food, such as their lifestyle, dietary habits, gut microbiome, and biology. Recognizing this gap, the IMPACTS project leverages Integrative Phenomics’ established strategy and technology built off the foundation of its longitudinal real-world weight-loss study (GUTINSIDE) in over 1800 individuals. The company’s advanced models and algorithms analyze comprehensive individual data to establish a tailored treatment plan unique as the individual themselves.

The IMPACTS project runs for 18 months and is financed through the French Public Bank for Investments (BPIFRANCE) as part of the i-NOV program. The i-NOV program aims to support technology developed from French SMEs and startups to ensure and deliver future and impactful innovation to the market.
